At China Shadow, the Chinese restaurant on the 26th floor of The Strings by InterContinental Tokyo in Shinagawa, a limited-time Mango Parfait & Savory set will be available July 8 to September 30, celebrating the full allure of seasonal summer.
The top is garnished with sesame dumplings filled with mango paste and mango meringue. In the glass, refreshing lychee sorbet is layered with smooth mango pudding and a jelly made with “MANGO WONDER,” expressing the juicy freshness of tropical fruits. As you progress through the layers, the texture evolves from a light, icy sensation to a meltingly smooth mouthfeel, while the rich sweetness of mango gradually unfolds.

“MANGO WONDER” liqueur is paired with juicy pink grapefruit pulp and tapioca, then finished with a smooth coconut milk foam.
Inspired by the Taiwanese favorite yangzhi ganlu, this dessert cocktail offers tropical aromas and an elegant, lingering finish.
