Changes to the Accommodation Tax (Effective April 1, 2027)

Due to revisions to the Tokyo Metropolitan Accommodation Tax system, the accommodation tax will change for stays from April 1, 2027.

Regardless of the date of reservation, the revised accommodation tax will apply to all guests staying from April 1, 2027.

■ Stays through March 31, 2027
Accommodation Tax: JPY 200 per person, per night

■ Stays from April 1, 2027
Accommodation Tax: 3% of the accommodation fee per person, per night (excluding tax)
