Our much-loved Strawberry Afternoon Tea, a guest favorite year after year, returns once again this season.
Showcasing the very best of seasonal strawberries, the selection features eight beautifully crafted sweets that capture their charm in every bite. Highlights include an almond jelly infused with strawberry and berry aromas, strawberry milk with tapioca pearls, a delicate two-layer pudding of strawberry and apricot liqueur, and a black glutinous rice crepe—an enticing lineup designed to delight the senses.
The savory offerings bring a creative twist, with dishes such as strawberry tempura, Omi duck with strawberry balsamic sauce, and a strawberry tart gratin gently scented with coconut, each using strawberries as a subtle yet memorable accent.
For an additional order, guests may also enjoy China Shadow’s signature mala soup noodle, served in a half portion. Its gentle, lingering spiciness offers a satisfying contrast and pairs surprisingly well with the sweetness of the desserts.

Inspired by the auspicious concept of “Eight Treasures” in Chinese culture, this signature Mala Tang from China Shadow features a luxurious selection of eight carefully chosen ingredients. The lingering heat of Sichuan peppercorns and chili peppers intertwines harmoniously, enhancing the depth of umami flavors. Shrimp, squid, fish roe dumplings, and thick glass noodles are gently covered with delicate yuba, creating a richly layered and satisfying texture.
